Saturday February 25, 2012
Thank you to everyone who braved the cold, wind, and snow today for the 2nd Annual Alta Vista Freestyle Nordic Race! This includes all the racers and the volunteers that helped make it happen. Official results are now posted on the RESULTS page. Please note that the times announced at the awards cermony for the 10K and the Kids races were incorrect and the corrected times are posted on this website. Photos from the 2012 race are coming soon so keep checking back.

Alta Nordic Track, 7:40 a.m. today, race day, Saturday Feb 25th - too bad it didn't stay this calm!
The Alta Vista Freestyle nordic race features 20k and 10k length races and a 2.4k race for the kids. This year we are also offering a non-competitive Touring class as well! All races are freestyle so you can skate or classic ski. This race is wonderful for all levels from beginners to experts and if the weather cooperates, you'll enjoy spectacular views throughout the course.
All proceeds from the race go to Teton Valley Trails and Pathways to help fund their nordic program which provides quality nordic tracks throughout Teton Valley. The track is groomed and maintained by generous volunteers from TVTAP. Photos on this website from the 2011 Alta Race are courtesy of Eric Helgoth. Thank you!
